At the end of May, the Canadian College MontMorency announced that it had suffered a cyber attack with a possible theft of personal data. ZATAZ confirms: pirates have copied everything, and they are starting to broadcast.
In the Quebec newspaper La Presse, on May 21, 2022, it was possible to read from the pen of Léa Carrier, the cyber attack experienced by Collège Montmorency, in Laval (Montreal region).
Personal data could have been compromised during the cyberattack, then indicated the management of the establishment.
ZATAZ can unfortunately confirm the theft of a lot of data by hackers from the AvosLocker group. Malicious hackers who have attacked many schools around the world.
“ Cyberattack at Collège Montmorency: ~8TB personal data has been compromised ” welcome the black hats.
ZATAZ was able to see invoices, addresses, identities, telephones … from the first documents distributed by thugs 2.0. Files that run over several years: 2018, 2020, 2022.
“ The board should contact us immediately to avoid the complete leak on our blog. advise these cyber criminals.
Note that there is no point in paying. The information has already been sorted, classified, stored and used. Some already aired.
The hackers seem to have had access to many computers. In the information that they began to disseminate on July 15, 2022, it is possible to come across documents from the communication department, school catering, the direction of studies... and plans for 2014 for the expansion of a sewage treatment plant.
