It mainly concerned scripts, codes that are used to automate processes.
However, it also contained confidential information, such as personal data.
An investigation by the hospital has shown that the information has been viewed by third parties.
A person gained access to the hospital's servers through the scripts and placed software on them to generate cryptocurrencies.
The hospital has filed a complaint against both persons.
The leak was previously reported to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
