Notice Regarding Data Security Incident
At the Millennia Companies, protecting the privacy of personal information is of the utmost
importance.
The Millennia Companies learned that an unauthorized individual obtained access to a limited
number of the Millennia Companies employee email accounts between October 21, 2019 and
December 18, 2019. The Millennia Companies immediately launched an investigation in
consultation with outside cybersecurity professionals who regularly investigate and analyze these
types of situations to analyze the extent of any compromise of the email accounts and the
security of the emails and attachments contained within them. The Millennia Companies devoted
considerable time and effort to determine what information was contained in the affected email
accounts. Based on its comprehensive investigation and document review, which concluded on
May 27, 2021, the Millennia Companies discovered that the compromised email account(s)
contained a limited amount of personal information, including full names and one or more of the
following: Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, state identification numbers,
individual taxpayer identification numbers, passport numbers, credit or debit card information,
financial account information, username and password for one or more online accounts, and
limited medical information (treatment, diagnosis, medical record numbers, patient account
numbers, Medicare or Medicaid information and health insurance identification numbers). Not
all affected individuals had each of these data points impacted.
To date, the Millennia Companies has no evidence that any of the information has been misused.
On June 29, 2021, the Millennia Companies notified those potentially affected via U.S. Mail to
the extent it had a last known home address. Notified individuals have been provided with best
practices to protect their information. Credit monitoring services have been offered to individuals
whose Social Security numbers were impacted.
The Millennia Companies is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information in its
possession and has taken many precautions to safeguard it. The Millennia Companies continually
evaluates and modifies its practices and internal controls to enhance the security and privacy of
