Your favorite job portal in Europe europa[.]jobs now-defunct is victim of hacking and data breach. It is interesting to see that the site was hacked back in August 2019 only.
This incident exposed 226K email addresses , names , date of birth, job applications, and password
The data was later circulated on various hacking forums and dark web which is had been already accessed with a lot of hackers and cybercriminals .
One should immediately check information provided on this job site and try to change information which can be changed to avoid further co-relational damages
Recruitment sites are an infosec fustercluck. One last year's breach was including full client config on their job listing pages in the JSON - plaintext passwords for the CV uploads to the big job the search sites, occasional client passwords etc .
