Transport company Bakker Logistiek from Zeewolde was hacked last weekend, as a result of which the company can drive fewer loads than normal. The automation system in the warehouse section does not work, but according to director Toon Verhoeven does not cause any problems. "We can deliver less, but it doesn't lead to empty shelves in the store."

The company found out about the hack on Monday, on Easter Monday. "The trucks were already filled on Tuesday, but on Wednesday we were able to deliver limited", says Verhoeven. "We now work manually and have already been able to deliver a lot more today (Thursday). But if you no longer have an automation system, everything will go a bit slower."

The hack is expected to be resolved early next week. The company cannot tell who is responsible for the hacking.
