Celg Geração e Transmissão (Celg GT) - reported, on the morning of this Friday, the 19th, that it suffered, during the night, a cyber attack that left access to the entire corporate network of applications and files compromised.
It has not yet been possible to identify the extent of the damage or even specify the source of the attack, but since the early hours of the day, the Information Technology Superintendence says that the company is following all security protocols, including suspending its operation. computerized environment to protect the integrity of the information and, at the same time, to safeguard the backups.
In parallel, professionals specializing in the area seek to identify the model of criminal attack and seek corporate solutions. At the end of the work, with the complete restoration of the systems, the company will study the appropriate legal measures and will call the police authorities to identify the cybercriminals.
