La Southern Arkansas University nuovamente vittima di un Data Breach - SuspectFile

After being VICTIM OF THE BLACKBAUD DATA BREACH in May last year, Southern Arkansas University is now facing a new data theft by the Sodinokibi (REvil) ransomware group.
A few minutes ago, the Sodinokibi Ransomware group published a series of screenshots on its website regarding some data exfiltrated during the cyber attack against the American university.

Screenshots of names and surnames, e-mail addresses, physical addresses and photos of university staff and some students have been published as well as a series of confidential documents.

At the moment it is the only statement that the Ransomware group has published, in the next few hours the post will surely be updated with new details.

It remains to be seen how Sodinokibi managed to enter the university's IT systems since after the incident last May the university wanted to underline, through this official statement, the following

“… Our organization takes our data protection responsibilities very seriously and enters into vendor relationships with this as a primary concern….”.

Obviously these declarations were useless if today, after a short time, the American university finds itself facing the same situation, this time Blackbaud has nothing to do with it. The IT systems involved are those of Southern Arkansas University.

Here are some screenshots published on Sodinokibi's website.
