A virus that has already infected "communities" or "ministries"
It is a type of virus which "infect the computer systems of communities, ministries but also private companies." A few weeks ago it is the agglomeration of La Rochelle which was affected by a computer hacking of the same kind. The hackers demand a ransom. Obviously the department specifies that it will not pay anything.
According to Alain Pichon this attack will have no impact in the long term. "We have security and backup systems that are normally very efficient and relatively modern, which should allow us to recover our history in a very short time ," he said.
