Friday, November 6, 2020, the systems of the Community of Communes Haute-Ariège (CCHA) were the subject of a general hack. The software and the data were encrypted, "making the whole system unusable for long weeks", specifies the CCHA.
The perpetrators of the cyberattack then demanded a ransom in order to decrypt this data. A threat to which the Community of Communes did not wish to submit.

Some computers have been spared by piracy, and but "we must start from zero", deplores the CCHA to Actu.fr.
This is a real blow for the CCHA which will bring additional difficulty for the operation of its already well-tested services, for the morale of the teams, and for our finances.
