The website of the Municipality of Águas Lindas de Goiás suffered a hacker attack. The municipal Executive informed about the action this Wednesday (23/6). The portal had to be taken down by the municipal government's IT department to avoid the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive information. The page remains disabled until next Friday (25/6).
In a statement, the city of Goiás informed that the Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO) was called to investigate the cyber attack. “The IT department is working on recovering the systems and services offered”, he explained in a publication made on social networks.
According to the agency, all services made available to the public through the online platform are still suspended, except for the schedule for vaccination by covid-19 . The service will have an emergency static page, which will be available later this Wednesday.
In the publication, made around 19:00 on Wednesday, followers commented that, for three days, they have had difficulties accessing the portal. "Let's see if that way we can schedule the vaccine, because I've been trying for three days and nothing," protested one of the people in a comment. Until the publication of this report, there was no disclosure of the website for scheduling the vaccine.
