A computer hacker who tried to sue the Chief Constable over claims police conspired with his former employer has been told his claim is an abuse of process
ppJohn Henry Griffin was convicted of two offences of unauthorised access of data and two of unlawful obtaining of personal data while working for RL360 between October 2016 and January 2017ppIn April 2019 he was sentenced to 14 weeks jail suspended for two years and ordered to pay costs of 2500ppHowever Griffin who represented himself in court claimed his arrest breached his human rights and tried to sue the Chief constableppDeemster Corlett disagreed and struck out his claimppIts the latest legal setback for Griffin who lost an appeal against his conviction was denied permission to appeal to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and had an employment tribunal claim dismissedpp
